PORT STORAGE

Port Storage is a family owned company, and has been since its entry into the self-storage business in 1998.  Bill and Vicki Goodman, after stepping down from a career in the Dairy Industry along with their son’s Howard and John Goodman founded Port Storage with the goal of being able serve a growing need of large storage spaces.

 Bill Goodman holds a Master’s degree from Humbolt State University. Along with his wife of 40 years Bill operated a Dairy in Tillamook County from 1978 to 1998.  In addition to serving on numerous boards, and volunteer posts, Bill has become a skilled farrier and accomplished property manager. 

Vicki Goodman holds a Bachelor’s degree from Concordia College.  In addition to 20 years on the dairy, Vicki found a way to raise two children and served countless hours of community service through school activities and as a 4H leader.  After life on the Dairy, she started a consulting business, and was the director of economic development in Tillamook County. Vicki is currently employed in the State’s regional economic development  team based in Tillamook, and is the Creative Director of Port Storage.

Howard Goodman has a Bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University. Howard started his professional life in Accounting, and still holds a CPA license. After 4 years of public accounting, Howard started down the path of construction and development, and now owns and operates Wing Ridge Contruction as well as coordinating the business development of Port Storage.

John Goodman holds a Doctorate degree from the University of Oregon Law School.  After a brief stint with a regional law firm, John transitioned to a general counsel post with a large international construction company.  John Currently is based in Bend, OR , and owns and operates a variety of businesses.  John is very active in developing property in Tillamook County and provides legal services to Port Storage.
